Tammy Gordon

Position: Public Information Department Manager

Tammy has been in public service since 2010 and started at the District in 2019. Passionate about open communication and transparency, Tammy strives to make meaningful connections with the residents we serve and high-fiving whenever possible.

After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Tammy’s career veered to focus on public service when she was hired as the Public Information Officer for a suburb of Idaho’s capitol city of Boise. Later, Tammy received her Master’s in Communication with an emphasis in Public Administration from Boise State University. She is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) and Master Public Information Officer (MPIO) Certified. Tammy's current licenses include Commercial Drone Pilot and the State of California Department of Public Heath's Vector Control Technician License.

Tammy is active in the community and serves on her City's Community Services Commission as a Commissioner. She is active in Toastmasters and serves on committees for the Mosquito and Vector Control Association of California including the Ad-hoc Drone Committee and the Legislative Committee. 

Tammy is married with two children and all are avid outdoor enthusiasts. In their spare time they can often be found hiking, gardening, or beekeeping.
