COMPLETION OF THIS DOCUMENT IS REQUESTED TO FACILITATE RECORDS REQUESTS * Your request will be processed in compliance with the California Public Records Act, except for public records exempt from disclosure. While it is our practice to respond to requests for public records as quickly as possible, the Public Records Act allows the District up to 10 (ten) days to determine whether the documents will be disclosed. The Act also provides that, in certain circumstances, the government agency may determine that additional time is needed to respond, not to exceed fourteen (14) additional days. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to, “The need to search for, collect, and appropriately examine a voluminous amount of separate and distinct records that are demanded in a single request” (Cal. Govt. Code §6253(c)(2)). You will be contacted when the records are available to you and to inform you of any related costs for the duplication as authorized by law.
